2. Kaike Hot Spring (Yonago city, Tottori)
Kaike Hot Spring is a seaside resort located at Yumigahama Beach.Naturally rich in magnesium, sulfate, and metasilicic acid, this is the hot spring of beautiful skin. There are approximately 30 Japanese inns or day-trip hot springs here.

Located on the western shore of Lake Togo, you can melt into the beautiful lake scenery. Popular for the abundant water that springs from the lake's bottom. There are open-air baths which provide a panoramic view of Lake Togo.

4. Tamatsukuri Hot Spring (Matsue city, Shimane)
Opened during the beginning of the Nara period, this is the famous hot spring in the Sanin area. The springs are weak alkaline and are good for skin care. Three footbaths are available for free along the Tamayu River.

It has a history of 1200 years. Visitors can enjoy hot spring baths at Yunogo Sagi Onsenkan, a public bath and other inns. In the center of the town, a footbath in the shape of a foot, is available for free.

It is famous for “Sunayu,” which gushes from the riverbed. The amount of discharge is 17,000 liters per minute. As the alkaline hot spring is good for skincare, you don’t need any soap.

11. Nagato Yumoto Hot Spring (Nagato city, Yamaguchi)
It is believed to be the oldest hot spring in Yamaguchi prefecture. Visitors can try the public bath “On-yu,” which has a retro appearance, and each inn and hotel offers various types of baths. Fireflies can be seen in early summer at the Otozure River where Nagato Yumoto hot spring is located.
